Agartala: Mar 04: After the election results were announced, the cowsheds of the BJP page were set on fire by miscreants. The incident occurred on Friday night in Bhadrapara area under Radhakishorpur police station of Udaipur subdivision. In the details of the incident, it is known that Prasenjit Sarkar, a resident of Bhadrapara area, used to raise cows and goats at home and manage his family. These domesticated animals were the only source of income for the family.

Miscreants set fire to the cattle shed on Friday night after the election results were announced. 11 goats, three cows were burnt to ashes. A fire engine rushed to the spot long after the incident was reported, though by then the cattle in the house were engulfed in flames. Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, Udaipur Municipal Council Mayor Shital Chandra Majumdar, BJP Radhakishorpur Mandal President Prabir Das, Matabari Mandal President Mintu Chakraborty, and Bharatiya Janata Party’s winning candidate Abhishek Devarai rushed to the spot on Saturday morning. Sheetal Chandra Majumder alleged that the fire caused by miscreants has caused a loss of around six lakh rupees. This incident took place around 2 am. The family was devastated by the incident. The incident has spread panic and panic throughout the entire Udaipur sub-division.
