Agartala: June 02: Last night, the Dharmnagar Fire Department received a distress call from a woman in critical condition. Responding swiftly, firefighters rushed to the Kameswar area of Dharmnagar. There, they discovered 32-year-old Lipi Deb hanging from a ceiling fan in her home. Fortunately, family members intervened in time and rescued her. Lipi Deb was then transported to North District Hospital, where doctors provided necessary treatment.

According to sources, Lipi Deb’s husband, Swapon Deb, has been implicated in an extramarital affair. Her mother alleges that Swapon mentally tortured Lipi, leading her to attempt suicide.
