Strict surveillance for election code of conduct

Agartala: June 21: As soon as the code of conduct for by-polls came into force, the campaign of district administration and police administration started in the two assembly constituencies of the by-election.The administration is warning by miking. Tuesday was the last day of the by-election campaign in four assembly constituencies in the state till 4 pm. After the end of the campaign, section 144 came into force in four assembly constituencies. Police and central forces are patrolling these four assembly constituencies. A joint operation by the district and police administrations was seen on Tuesday night at two assembly constituencies in West Tripura district. CRPF, BSF and TSR personnel under the leadership of West Tripura District Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan and Assistant Superintendent of Police Jagadish Reddy went on a vigil.West Tripura District Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan and Superintendent of Police Jagadish Reddy said the operation would continue. The patrol team toured different parts of the two by-elections. The administration officials took several places under their control.
