Road accident: 3 seriously injured

Agartala: Jan 13: Three persons, including a biker, were seriously injured on the way back to Assam-Agartala National Highway. The accident occurred when the bike and Alto collided with each other. At present three people were undergoing treatment at Agartala GB Hospital.The incident took place in the Korailong area of Assam-Agartala National Highway under Teliamura police station around 3.30 pm on Thursday. According to reports, three youths on the way to Teliamura in bike bearing registration number TR-06A7418 collided with an Alto car number TR06B0540. After the collidation Prasenjit Sarkar of Maharanipur, Biton Debnath of Tui Chakma and another youth from Tuisindrai was seriously injured. Receiving the information Firefighters rushed to the spot to rescue the injured and brought them to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital.The doctors on duty at Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital noticed the deterioration of their condition and referred them to Agartala GB Hospital for better treatment. However, the condition of the unknown young man is very alarming till the last news is written. Meanwhile, the police of Teliamura police station went to the spot, arrested the driver and another youth in the car and brought them to Teliamura police station.
