CM bought the national flag
Agartala: Aug 05: The Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha purchased the national flag on Friday. He bought two national flags from Orient Chaumuhani for Rs. 250. He said Har Ghar Tiranga programme has been undertaken on the occasion of 75 years of independence. The Chief Minister said that he has bought the national flag to participate in this programme.The Central and State Governments have undertaken this program to inculcate and awaken love of country, sense of nationalism, patriotism and spirit. It will be implemented in the state. This program has been undertaken to strengthen the spirit of patriotism.The tricolor national flag is a symbol of pride, patriotism and a sense of nationalism for the countrymen. There are 8.5 lakh houses in the state. Out of this, 60 percent i.e. 4.5 lakh houses have been planned to be covered. About 5 lakh national flags of different sizes have been arranged. The Chief Minister said that this program will be held across the country from August 13 to 15.
