Biplab comes by the side of agitating scribes (3/11/2018)
Chief minister Biplab Deb today came out in open support of the ongoing agitation of scribes and attended a rally that was held in front of Rabindra bhavan. Here the announcement of calling of the long standing agitation seeking CBI probe into the twin scribe murder case was announced. The first meeting of state cabinet presided by Mr Deb took a decision to go for CBI probe, it may be mentioned here. So on a day when CPI(M) secretary Sitaram Yechury accompanied by Manik Sarkar was in Belonia to see the spot of desecration of Lenin statue and spreading all the negativities against the new government Mr Deb came out with a positive outlook. I have told DGP that no scribe let alone any commoner should fear when he returns home even in dead of night he said at the rally. But back in Melarmath Mr Yechury with Badal Choudhury continued with his tirade against the new government and said he will tell like minded parties to raise the issue in Parliament.
