Manik to attend meeting in Kolkata (12/2/2017)
Chief minister Manik Sarkar will attend a high level meeting convened by Rajnath Singh in Kolkata on next Thursday. The meeting will be attended by chief ministers of all states having a border in Bangladesh. This means the likes of Mamata Banerjee, Mukul Sangma, Lalthanhawala and Sarvananda Sonowal will also be seen at the meeting. The Home minister will have some harsh questions in store for Manik Sarkar as he will have to answer for the brutal killing of top BSF official Deepak Mandal in his home turf Dhanpur by smugglers active there.
