Biplab to seek recognition from Speaker (8/8/2017)
The same old story of seeking recognition from assembly speaker will be repeated again . This time Biplab Deb will be approaching the speaker seeking status for BJP legislators. Biplab told reporters that he is busy with the rally slated to take place tomorrow to be addressed by the Arunachal Pradesh chief minister. Hence he will approach the speaker only after that. But like what happened in case of the recognition of TMC legislature party this time too Speaker Ramendra Debnath will take his time. He has hinted that he will call the legislators one by one as he did last time. This is a time consuming process. So the formal presence of BJP in state assembly will take time. Meanwhile , even as formal joining of legislators has taken place just yesterday CPI(M) mouthpiece has asked the question as to who will be the CM candidate for BJP. It has named four leaders, Biplab Deb, Ratan Nath, Subal Bhowmik and Sudip Barman as likely contenders.
