BJP ultimatum to Manik to end blockade (7/15/2017) 
Mebar Jamatia unable to meet any central minister is on his way back. But with no end in sight in terms of the indefinite road cum rail blockade of IPFT politics heated up on Saturday. First a delegation of Congress called on DGP to press for action in this regard. CPI(M) hit the streets soon after and not to be left behind BJP state incharge Sunil Deodhar issued an ultimatum in this regard. He said if the deadlock does not end within 48 hours BJP will stall the movement of the chief minister and 10,000 party supporters will gherao the official residence of Manik Sarkar. Jishnu Debbarma who also spoke at the press meet clarified the stance of BJP on its demand for creation of state council.
