Dead body recovered (2/12/2020) 
On Wednesday morning Tripura police recovered a dead body from an abandoned place who went missing since February 6. The deceased has been identified as Dhangopal Saha, a businessman and had contested for Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections for last two times. On the same day, police had recovered blood stained clothes, motor cycle and a helmet that belonged to the deceased. Following the incident, the police had detained two persons suspected into the case identified as Sanjit Majumder and Akash Das Sarkar after tracking the phone call details. Based on the inputs provided by the duo, police conducted search and recovered the body near Deo River in Dhanichara area. Reportedly the duo have also committed their act of crime but the reason for the murder is yet to be ascertain. Meanwhile investigation into the matter is on, more details are awaited.
