9 Bangladeshi held (2/12/2020) 
Tripura police on Monday arrested nine Hindu Bangladeshi nationals who had illegally entered Indian territory with the help of middlemen. The Bangladeshi nationals were caught in Matai village of Mohanpur sub-division in West district by the locals and handed them over to the police. The Bangladeshis were identified as Minu Das, Suchismita Das, Shiba Das, Rina Das, Bakul Das, Ranika Das, Putul Das, Anil Das, Ranjan Das. According to police, the Bangladeshis failed to submit any legal document and during investigation they revealed that they have been staying here illegally. The arrested persons have been produced before the court on Tuesday.
