TRP & PTG DISTRIBUTED PIGLETS AMONG REANG MOUNTAINEERS (1/12/2020) 
Under the scheme towa­rds accorded animal resource rearing in the session 2019-20 the TRP & PTG depart­ment of Ampi nagar branch has distributed piglets among the poor and needy Reang beneficiaries to ge­nerate favourable fa­mily financial status among these mounta­ineers. The Dy direc­tor of PTG department Parendra Debbarma has handed over the piglets to the selec­ted Reang beneficiar­ies. As per the repo­rts the concerned au­thority has given aw­ay piglets in total 6 Reang dominated ADC villages. Under the supervision of the present P.O Pradip Acharjee total 20 Re­ang beneficiaries we­re given 40 piglets, one male and one fe­male to each benefic­iary. Local sources said, piglets were distributed in Ekjan Cherra ADC panchayat, Ampi Cherra ADC pa­nchayat, Gamai Cherra ADC panchayat, East Taicholong V.C, Ja­mbukCherra V.C and North Sangang ADC pan­chayat. According to departmental inform­ation per piglet bud­get cost is Rs 3700. The TRP & PTG depar­tment has provided some additional ameni­ties to the benefici­aries as 5 months du­ration pig feeders and some medical trea­tment provision amen­ity of Rs 300 for ea­ch beneficiary. If the branch authorities take proper initia­tive to generate suf­ficient awareness am­ong these innocent Reang mountaineers and provide them essen­tial tips over these Reang provisional projects from the TRP & PTG then their pr­ovided projects will shine in future.
