CM calls for Garbage-Free Tripura (10/2/2019) 
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today walked on a Prabhat Feri here at Agartala to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. "One should set a mindset of keeping his area and society clean like that of his living room," adding to this today Mr. Deb said, "Garbage free and non usage of single use plastic shall bring a successful implementation of Swachch Bharat to keep swachch Tripura." However, remembering Gandhi today Mr. Deb said, "Mahatma Gandhi ji's life stands an inspiration to us and gives us strength to work hard for making a new India. His unmatched sacrifices for Nation can never be forgotten." Senior cabinet colleague Ratan Lal Nath and others also joined the Prabhat Feri rally. Moving in line with the celebration across the nation, the Tripura government has arranged series of programme today across the state to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.The Chief Minister also joined hands in cleanliness drive here at Agartala as part of swachch bharat mission and urged upon the people of this state to actively participate in Swachch Bharat campaign and make Swachch Tripura
