Bijan faces arrest as BJP set for landslide (7/9/2019)
Left Front convenor Bijan Dhar faces imminent arrest for trying to instigate communal violence. Reports said, Mr Dhar without confirming it claimed a masjid was attacked by BJP workers in Chandrapur in North Tripura. One cable channel even showed this news. Immediately BJP state leaders held a press meet and demanded his immediate arrest. Police said his arrest is a matter of time. Even as CPI(M) leader tries to forment communal violence in the state party has cunningly been able to put up more candidates than Congress. PCC president has again shown that he is a novice in politics. He told a news agency that CPI(M) was paper tiger. But this woke up the Melarmath party bosses . CPI(M) has been able to field more candidates both at panchayat samiti and zila parishad level. Only in gram panchayat Congress has more candidates than CPI(M). But after the end of the submission process of nomination papers it is clear that BJP is all set for a landslide and set to win two thirds of the total seats uncontested.
