Biplab uses slew of programs to campaign hard (3/6/2019)
Backed by Melarmath party bosses AMC Mayor had tried to bring respectability to the non performance for the past one year. For this a slew of opening programs were planned for the whole day today. But the move backfired as chief minister Biplab Deb could smell the rat and used the programs to spread his campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha poll. He claimed that Samrt city Agartala will wear a transformed look within the next two years. After that the onus of keeping the city clean will fall on residents of the capital. He thanked the PM and erstwhile UD minister (now Vice President) for including the capital in the smart city list. So here is a look into the full list of programs attended by CM today. He inaugurated the new vegetables & fish market complex at Math Chowmuhani today. He laid the Foundation Stone Laying ceremony of Ground Water Treatment Plant at Panchamukh. He also Inaugurated the Aralia Market Building and New Market Complex at Radhanagar. There he also distributed Swachhata Kits to Safai Karamcharis . Last but not the least he toured the Dimsagar Lake which is being beautified as a part of the Wall Painting programme for a clean and beautiful state capital.
