Biplab gives 7th PC before puja (10/9/2018) 
Biplab Deb on Tuesday finally announced the implementation of 7th pay commission in the state. Over 2 lakh government employees will be benefited by the move.An announcement in this regard has been made by Chief Minister in the presence of Finance minister Jishnu Debbarma, Revenue minister N C Debbarma, Law minister Ratan Nath and health minister Sudip Barman. The move will cost the state exchequer an additional amount of over Rs 600 crore every month.Implementation of the 7th pay commission was one of the key poll promises of the BJP-led government in Tripura.In may be mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had given the assurance to the government employees of the state. BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik has hailed the decision to give the benfits of seventh pay commission and told the employees to celebrate.
