Fish comes again from Bangla (9/29/2018) 
Ending a 22 day stalemate fish imports from Bangladesh has restarted from Saturday. Following the directions of chief minister Biplab Deb BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik had to step in to resolve the deadlock. It may be mentioned here that Bangladesh stopped exporting fish to Agartala after a major consignment got rotten as local ruling party leaders did not allow it to leave Akhaura LCS. Shafikul Islam, General secretary of Exporter Importers Association said he was happy that the fish supply had resumed. People of the capital are happy that ahead of the festive season fish supply has resumed all over again . People can enjoy fish delicacies all over again after such a long period. The timely intervention of the chief minister has saved the day for the fish lovers.
