AMC blamed for traffic mess (9/28/2018) 
With allegations growing against Traffic police a statement has been issued passing the buck of responsibility on other bodies like AMC. The statement said that regular enforcement drives are carried out , the statement claimed. But with regards to growing number of illegal e-richshaws it was stated that transport department has been asked to start action soon. On the other hand AMC has been blamed for non cooperation in terms of action against illegal pedal rickshaws and also removal of encroachments in footpaths. The statement said that traffic department faces constraints of manpower and also proper infrastructure. SP(Traffic) has sought cooperation of all concerned and admitted that traffic snarls is order of the day on some of the busy roads in the capital especially in the morning and evening rush hours.
