Normalcy returns to whole state (9/13/2018)
After day long trouble on Wednesday on the last day of filing nomination papers for panchaayat by elections the situation became normal on Thursday. In Killa IPFT bandh passed off peacefully. On the other hand even as IPFT leaders held a meeting at the residence of N C Debbarma to continue the alliance with BJP even after the attacks some of his supporters blocked roads in Takarjala Jampuijala area. Addressing press meet Mangal Debbarma claimed that IPFT was able to submit nomination only in 10 blocks. Later Manik Sarkar held a press meet soon after Melarmath got a hint that the alliance will stay. Mr Sarkar wanted complete cancellation of the entire poll process even as he made it clear tht SEC has limited powers and autonomy.
