Biplab & Manik : two contrasting pictures (6/13/2018)
At a time when chief minister Biplab Deb is busy going to flood hit areas oppostion leader Manik Sarkar was busy holding an hour long press meet at Melarmath. Manik Sarkar was in flood hit Dhalai district but preferred to return back to capital instead of standing by the side of distressed people. He tried to play dirty politics and held a hour long press meet in the evening after returning to the comfort of AC room in Melarmath party office where he stays now. But in stark contrast Biplab Deb rushed to the flood hit areas soon after he completed the Janata Durbar proceedings. Manik Sarkar claimed that he had gone to know in what condition the locals in interior parts of the state are in. But he did not have time to go to the flood hit areas! But CM first had an aerial survey of flood hit areas and after that visited a relief camp in Kailasahar.
