CM lays foundation stone (6/12/2018) 
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb laid the Foundation Stone for the Center of Excellence for Vegetables at Birchandra Manu in South Tripura district today. This Center shall play an instrumental role in attaining our vision of doubling farmers' income by the year 2022, he claimed. On this occasion he made an important announcement in #Udaipur today- State Government of #Tripura shall rename the state's #Agriculture Ministry to Ministry of 'Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare'. My Government is committed towards ensuring progress & prosperity of Tripura's farmers, he made it clear. He also distributed powertillers,Hybrid paddy seeds,Piglets,KCC,loan sanction letters to joint liability groups etc. at a program organised at Rajarshee Hall in Udaipur. CM emphasized on attaining the vision laid by the PM of doubling farmers' income by 2022 . He distributed various agricultural benefit products such as power tillers, hybrid paddy seeds, Kisan Credit Cards, Loan Sanction letters etc. to farmers in Udaipur today. .In the midst of pro Farmer related programs he also paid a surprise visit to Udaipur English Medium H.S. School to meet the students who received their TBSE Madhyamik Exam results today. Mr Deb happy to know that eight students from the school were able to secure a rank in the Top 10 list of theMadhyamik toppers.
