CM has not warned of ending alliance : NC (5/16/2018)
Addressing a press meet at Nazrul Kalashetra after a marathon meeting IPFT supremo and member of state cabinet N C Debbarma made it clear that chief minister Biplab Deb did not tell him over phone that BJP will end its alliance with us. A section of media is wrongly reporting this , he made it clear. As head of cabinet CM has every right to issue directions to members of state cabinet. This is precisely what he did and I acted as per his instructions and road blockade in South Tripura was withdrawn instantly. Our leaders and legislators are working tirelessly to bring things under control as and when trouble arises, he pointed out. But N C made it clear that loopholes remains on the issue of appointment of BAC chairmen. In order to end the stalemate specific policy decision is needed.
