Wear lots of white in summers: Farheen 30/03/2012
Designer Farheen Bushra Rahman, who is a fashion graduate from London College of Fashion, has been in the industry for almost half a decade and has been busy managing her newly launched brand FBR inc. An expertise in Trousseau, occasion wear and prêt line she participated in Kolkata Fashion and Design Week recently. Kolkata hosts Glam Hunt grand finale 28/02/2012
Kolkata, Feb 23 (IBNS): After preliminary and swimwear rounds, the grand finale of Unish Kuri Glam Hunt 2012 was held at a Kolkata hotel on Wednesday.

Avishek Lama and Ekata Mukherjee bagged the “Glam King and Glam Queen” title out of the ten finalists (five girls and five boys) of the glam hunt.

The judges for the grand finale were Tollywood (Bengali film industry) actors Parno Mitra and Payel Sarker, fashion designer Shantanu Goenka and singer Sidhu of Bangla band ‘Cactus’ fame.

Popular city singer June Banerjee gave a mesmerizing performance and grooved the audience with Bengali, Hindi and English songs.

The show was hosted by funnyman Mir.

The show began with a dance sequence by the ten finalists choreographed by Prasanna Saikia.

Kolkata to witness a fashion fiesta 02/09/2011
Kolkata, Sept 2 (IBNS) The fashion fever will hit the city in November with the Kolkata Fashion and Design Week coming up.

The event organized by Pacific Entertainment Management will be a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their designs and also an opportunity for fresh faces to set the ramps ablaze with their oomph.

An audition for city based established or aspiring models was held in Kolkata with a talented judge panel comprising of Parizat Chakraborty, Pallavi Chatterjee, Arnab Chakraborty, Sanjivanim Tarang Sen, Succhanndra Bhutoria and Samrat Mukherjee.
