Prantik Club will come with awareness theme in Durga puja
Puja-19 Story Prantik Club has set to aware the people with the construction of their”Mandop”with the theme of Child Labour and Child Abuse in the upcoming Durga Puja festival.

Talking to the reporter of Tripura Observer, the Secretary of the Puja Committee of Prantik Club, Ranajib Bhowmik said, the club has taken the budget of Rs 6 lakh for the construction of pandal for upcoming Durga Puja. With a total of 700 bamboos had been used so far to build this Pandal and 20 local workers for last 2 months had been working hard to complete this marquee. The height of the marquee is 40foot, while the length of the marquee is 25/30 foot.

The marquee will be circled by children’s dummy which shows the child abuses and child labour over these pandal. The pandal is building and the idol of Goddess Durga is made by Apu Saha of Shantipara. The lighting of the pandal will be done by local Das Decorator Sajib Saha. The idol of the Goddess is made from clay.

Also there will be lots of interior decoration in the pandal to stun the visitors. Dibyendu Datta, secretary of Prantik Club said, club members did not force any one for pay subscription and give the rest of the money from their own after collecting the limited subscription from common people.

In this celebration of Durga Puja festival the club has decided that they will organize cultural programme in the day of Dasami. Datta said, Club members help the poor and needy people all over the year.

Data added well and tight security arrangements will be done by the club like previous years and club volunteers and a private security company will also manage the crowd in the five days of Durga Puja festival. The club will do the Dasami on October 11.
