Youth commits suicide

Boxanagar: Feb 22: In a pathetic incident a 19 years old youth committed suicide by hanging himself. The incident took place in Ward No. 4 of Ashabari Gram Panchayat under Kalamchaura police station. According to the details of the incident, the deceased identified as Dipankar Das (19) was in love with a girl from Rani Bazar, Agartala.But during the love affair, he got into an argument with his girlfriend. As a result, he could no longer hold himself in pride and committed suicide by hanging himself at home at three o'clock in the afternoon. It is learned that Dipankar and his younger brother and his mother are in the family.His father is working in Kuwait, a Middle Eastern country. The younger brother is in the ninth grade of school. On that day, after school, he came home and recovered Dipankar in hanging position. Receiving his hue and cry neighbours rushed to the spot and informed police. Meanwhile, it is learned that the young Dipankar used to work in the mechanical shop of a Mithun Bhowmik's motorcycle in Boxnagar Bazar after finishing the ninth grade of his school.But when his mother left for a religious kirtan in Boxnagar at 03:00 this afternoon,and in this gap he hung himself on the gallows. After receiving the news of the incident, the police of Kalamchaura police station came to the house at 4:30 pm and brought down the body. After autopsy the body of Dipankar handed over his family members.
